Hi Everyone. I am new to this site. I have a wonderful friend named Melissa who is a recent breast cancer survivor and is about to get married to the most wonderful man on Dec 12, 2009. He was with her through all of her ordeal and stayed right by her side. I really admire both of them for sticking it out.
She always said if she beat it she would marry him without anymore hesitation. Well she is finally in remission and we are moving ahead with the plans. I have a very small budget for this. She has no other family or friends in the area except Mike her financee and myself. I honestly think planning her wedding has given her something to live for and want to get better for.
I am trying to put together a small, but nice ceremony at my house. I would love to try to get any type of wedding items or just cards to say congrats and welcome to your life again. I went to Dollar Tree and was able to buy a few items, but I am still in need of just about everything that can be thought of.
These two are my dearest friends and please help me to make this the best day of their lives.
